we've just started putting acorns out for the birds and squirrels, as we found a good source for them locally. This Stellers Jay was a true hog over them, and he flew off with this one in his beak, from the pile we put under the feeder near the driveway, just as we were heading out to gather more : ) -- so I was lucky to capture him leaving. We gathered a load more acorns and horse chestnuts today.
