I've just noticed my camellia's starting to break through amongst a flood of new buds, this one was the first opening.

It is nice to have the summer flowers to photograph, but also when we think winter is so cold and dismal, someone manages to capture a picture of beauty of either glistening snow or falling leaves, etc. I bet your snowdrops are a picture at the moment too Alandra. Thanks for your nice comment :)

I agree, gorgeous camellia. Can't wait to see flowers again in our part of the world. Awhile yet, - but we do have some snowdrops by the front gate.
