The Millennium Bridge crosses the Thames between Tate Modern on the south bank and St Paul's Cathedral on the north bank. Here the famous dome of the cathedral is seen rising above the bridge in the foreground.

Thanks for your comments on this one Mike. Actually this was my favourite of the millennium bridge shots, so I was a bit disappointed that it got so few hits! As for the crane, I'll obviously ask the contractors to move it next time it ruins my composition! No need to apologise for your cc: you know that's exactly what I'm looking for! Steve

lovely picture steve of modern and of old good use of technique too, dark and light! cc point if ok to mention ? well here goes red cranes to the right just needs moving ....... sorry sorry
