About This Image

My husband thought that if you let this dog off his lead, he'd race down the drive way and slide side ways into the first mud puddle, I could not believe the amount of spray his owners used to keep his fur the right way.

Yes he was huge Sparkle, he won the top dog for the show this day, I have to admit his owners had put alot of work into him.

I know what you mean Steve, doing that to a dog is something I just don't get. The breeder of my goldies is who we go to watch, but I bet today her dogs are out digging holes, rolling in smells and eating things in the sheep paddock they shouldent. before the shows they are bathed and groomed, so they look tidy. after that they are back to normal dogs like they should be, thanks for the comments Steve and looking in.

Well, I'd go a bit further than objecting to using hair spray! I think the dog looks utterly ridiculous, and I think there's something immoral about using a living creature as a kind of sculptor's clay. Good photo though, Lorraine, and thanks for showing us just how stupid some of our human relations can be! :)

Thankyou Don and Allan for looking in and comments, I would not use hair spray on my dogs at all, I wonder maybe they brush the long bits back to cover the bald bits in winter, the view from the back wasent good, poor dog.

Very nice photo Lorraine and fun to view. I also feel sorry for him. Talk about going out on a cold winters day and freezing your rear off. I did not know they used that much fur/hair spray, I would not expose my dogs to that stuff all the time. My dogs would not put up with that anyways lol...

Thankyou Talsi for looking in and your comment, I'm with you, I bet he's never able to be just a dog always dressed for shows, you have to feel sorry for him.

This image is eye catching, but my personal preference would be to see the Poodle with his natural hair. But nice image.

Thankyou Alandra for looking in, It must have being some sort of doggie hair spray, but I don't like the idea of it either, they just used so much on him, poor dog.

haha, Lorraine, your husband is probably right :) I didn't realize people use hair spray on pets. don't like the idea of that.
