About This Image

This is the milk train that takes the milk from Smaller dairy factory to Fonterra factory just north of where I live. I was at the Patea rivermouth taking photos when I heard it go past. This was a first for me I have only heard it at night.

Anne thank you for looking. They are great to see. Our grands get excited when they see one. We have moved over the opposite side of the north Island of NZ we now only get the freight trains and the occasional special occasion passenger trains over our back fence

How well I remember the milk trains. *g* The trains have been gone from our community for so long I had totally forgotten a scene like this one. Really great! Thank you.
