Thankyou Alandra,yes I had heard that, I think theres quite a few meds about that you have to be carefull about with grapefruit juice. When I make marmalade I also use a couple of sweet oranges with it, sweetens it up really quite nice, adds a bit of orange flavor.

lovely image of the grapefruit, Lorraine. I'd love to sample some of your marmalade too. Did you know that when taking certain meds, you cannot eat grapefruit or drink the juice, or the meds won't work properly. My hubby first encountered this when on meds for his heart, and then I had the same thing to watch for after my embolisms on my lung recently.
