Nice shot! We have a Mom and her 18 little ones down in the pond. Wood ducks are whistling tree ducks.

I found this one sitting under a bush at the Audobon Zoo in New Orleans. There was a second just to the right but I cut it out so you could get a better look at the colors. They make a whistling noise instead of a quack.
