Having the centre out of focus in this photo is quite effective I think.

delightful image, Shirree! Don't know how I missed this one earlier, but happy to finally see it. The droplets just add the finishing touch!

Thanks Savanna, Whittler and Lulu, for your great comments. Savanna, what do you mean 'one day' girl??? Flattery will get you everywhere!

I love the water drops and the texture of the petals. These are really hard to photograph as the centres are always in shadow. You have done a great job here.

Thank you for all the advice and comments you left under my pictures. I really love this one. It's amazingly sharp for such a close shot! Hopefully I'll be at your level one day.

Gosh, you write lovely comments Mel. Thanks for taking the time, and I'm glad you like it - and the rest. I'm gonna take a break from magnolia flowers now - I have been consumed by them LOL - time for something different I think - now I just have to find it!

I'm glad you have finally posted your beautiful flowers. All your Magnolia's are lovely, but I really like this one, it's full of so much detail, even though the centre is slightly hidden. It's like the centre is playing Peek a Boo with me.
