Lunar eclipse 10.46 NZ

TY for your comments. I suddenly realised just before the eclipse that I didn't know how to turn off the onboard flash unit, so was busy reading the instruction book. Found out a few more things about the camera and must admit to a bit of experimentation during the eclipse, which on hindsight i probably shouldn't have done as I missed out on a few photos. Never mind I have learned for next time.

Sorry to hear you got heavy rain in the Naki. We thought that we might be going to get some rain as well but we were so lucky that the clouds peeled back and left us with a wonderful lasting image

Nanakiwi what a photo WOW. I missed this wonderful event with cloudy skys and heavy rain

Nicely captured. You had a good clear view. Ours was obscured by clouds most of the time.
