From a distance the sky reminds me of waves, colorful waves, nicely done

Thank you for all the nice comments. This was a rare sight this year. Our sunsets have been mostly boring. Yes, Alandra, this is my new camera. I had a tripod malfunction in Vancouver and the D70 with the 80-400 lens crashed to the floor. I was really upset about that.

I went back to check, and am wondering if you have a new camera and lens? Will be interested to see more of your photos taken with it. I also got a new camera & lenses a few weeks ago, a 5D, haven't used it much yet tho'.

Beautiful, colorful sunset Karen! I like it when the purples and blues show up like that, doesn't happen often enough. This is the kind of sunset that makes you drool when you have your camera, and cuss when you don't! :-) Great shot! Don
