About This Image

I took this picture of Comet McNaught, hard to focus as both nights of best viewing it was quite breezy & hard to keep camera still! I took this one with a mini tripod balanced on the roof of my car. An amazing sight, way better than the views we got here in New Zealand of Halley's Comet or Halle-Bopp Comet. A once-in-a-lifetime view I wouldn't miss.

Seeing it in the daylight makes it look like a meteor about to crash! Yikes!

A great shot, and I think the background sky still having some light adds to the impact. The tiny bit of camera shake isn't worth worrying about! An excellent image!
