About This Image

our lily pond at one side of the front patio. Taken from a different viewpoint than usual, and looking at the water through a curtain of tiny star like flowers which grow near part of the pond and bloom every year at this time. I look forward to these blooming each spring, - my Mother loved these flowers when they lived here with us.
The name of them is "London Pride". Am pretty sure it's a type of Saxifrage.

thankyou Marsha Sea, glad you like it. The flowers are still blooming, which is surprising considering how delicate they look, plus we've had rain.

thankyou Carol and Alex. The little pink stems of the flowers raise up from the center "rosette" of leaves. Dainty and pretty plants.
