About This Image

hummingbird revelling in the spray drops from the fountain in the lily pond. Her beak is open a bit in this image.
She is lower down at the spray in this image, so there are more drops, which are distracting, so I cropped it a bit closer. Can clone out some of the droplets later.

Hi Karen, always good to see you here, -- many thanks for the nice comments, - glad you like it. We haven't got the little fountain set up in the lilypond yet this spring, but anytime now. Interested to hear about the solar powered bird bath and s/p. water pump you have bought, - haven't heard of those, will have to watch for them at the garden centers locally. Sounds like a great idea! I hope yours attract lots of birds, - let us know.

This is a wonderful photo! The droplets add so much interest and make me see the event through the hummingbird's eyes. I have never seen a fountain like that. I recently bought a solar powered bird bath that creates a little waterfall with the solar powered water pump. It will be interesting to see how the birds react to it.

Hi Carol, many thanks for the nice comments, happy you like it. I wasn't keen on it at first, last evening, with all the droplets, but when viewing it earlier today, liked it better.
