this afternoon on front patio, - was very close to the hummingbird this time, - it didn't seem afraid of the camera (or me) for some reason. If you look closely you can see the outline of the wings as they rotate.

many thanks, Janice and Karen. Just noticed that the shadow of the hummer is on the little wall, infact even the Right wing shadow is there, which is barely visible on the actual bird image! if you look closely you can see the R wing in a straight line, coming out from it's shoulder.

The hummingbird actually looks translucent in this photo. These are some awesome shots.
