Captured from open front window with telephoto lens. Kind of an unusual pose.
Interesting how the one wing is barely noticeable here.

Exquisite! It is so appropriate to have the background a little blurred, emphazing the beauty and clairty of hummingbird moth's throat zipping nectar from the beautiful bleeding hearts are offering it. Or so it seems to me. *g* Lovely picture.

many thanks, Carol, happy you like it :) Sat there for hours yesterday, waiting for the hummers to "pose" for me. Broke my "best" plant when the cushion I was leaning on, on the windowsill, fell out the window and smashed the plant that happened to be right below!! The plant was there being "protected" from the rain!, which wouldn't have hurt it as much as the heavy cushion did. typical, right.
