About This Image

For the first time Hamilton city put on a parade to honour the 'Balloons Over the Waikato Festival'. I took many shots of the parade but the most exciting ones were when the pilots fired up the balloon burners as they moved along Victoria Street.

It got nice and toasty - and I was a bit concerned about the trees lining the street, further up. No need to worry though :)

can feel the excitement here. Did it generate heat when the burners were fired up? Neat shot
