It's a great road for bikers, hikers and letting dogs have a good run - but there's water all around and the potential for gators is always present, so some caution must be used (say I while happily ambling along the now abandoned highway - alone, with my camera!!!!)

Thanks, Alandra - Jim's quite an interesting character. He and JD lived alone til after hurricane Wilma last year, when JD went out one day and found an abandoned cat . . . who, in turn, took off and came back with one of her siblings. So now, Hippie Jim and JD live quite contentedly with 2 cats!
