About This Image

This black squirrel was way up high infront of our house on the cables, where he sat enjoying the bright red berries.
Captured from open front window. Like the way the squirrel's whiskers are glinting in the rays of the setting sun. Just realized once this was on the screen that there's part of a cobweb showing in the bottom R corner : ) Would not have cropped so much of the web out, had I realized it was there.

thanks Alex, was quite pleased how this one turned out, as it was quite high up, and usually they don't turn out as well.

thankyou Alex. Am surprised at how many people haven't seen these black squirrels. Here we have the grey squirrels as well as these, but not many of the brown or red ones, if any.

Nicely done, Alandra. We don't have those down here. I don't know that I have ever seen a black squirrel before. Ours are all brown.

thanks for the nice comments, Beverly and Carol. Wasn't sure what he was eating either, til I looked thru the lens, - but believe it's a cluster of red berries that he has. Didn't know squirrels eat berries : )

I like the back light on the bushy tail and whatever that is that he is eating, it sure makes the photo stand out.
