what a wonderful picture nicely capture, over in NZ our bails get wrapped or put in the barn otherwise they a waste.. Lovely shot. :)

I love this photo. It has been a long time since I've seen a sight like this. The bales are rolled in this way so that they do not have to be taken to a barn. When the snow melts, the water just runs off the sides without soaking the interior of the bale. It is a good way to keep hay safe over winter.
