Great Blue Heron beside a pond in the garden of a house in the local farmlands this afternoon. I love the strands of the tassel on back of the heron's head (hand held)

nice shot alandra ..i have a hard time getting on the herons ..took advantage of our little brief sunlight huh..good use of it ..fella

thankyou Alex. Think this is one of the sharpest heron shots I've captured so far. and the background setting of the pond is also one of the prettiest, sometimes the herons are standing in the muddy fields and ditches :)
