About This Image

I don't know what you call this type of plant, but I first saw them when I moved to California almost 30 years ago. They tend to grow in coastal areas and are pretty common. If you know what this is, please let me know. I tried to look it up on the web, but had no luck.

The grasses stand out so nicely against the blue sky. And I would also say Pampus/Pompus grass.

Hi Alex D, believe this is Pampas grass, it's quite popular around here in peoples' gardens. makes a nice display. Nice colour contrast against the sky.

Pretty shot, nice contrast of colors. I think that is a type of Pompus grass, that is all I know it by. There are many different types though. Don
