About This Image

I have no idea what these are, but I love the colors. Maybe someone out there knows.

came by for another look, to make sure I'd commented. Such lovely colours.

Thanks Alandra. I knew someone out there would know what they were. Now I can plant some of these for next spring.

very pretty image. I believe it's Chinodoxa -- or "Glory of the Snow" is it's common name. it's not a hyacinth tho', the flowers on hyacinths are much closer together, and they dont have white centers like these, and have never seen hyacinths open out that wide, - the florets remain in a bell shape, close together on the stems of hyacinths (have an image of dark blue hyacinths on my gallery here).

Steve, Marsha, and Stacie thanks for the kind remarks.I think you might be right on the Hyacinth thing Steve. I'll have to look into it further.

I don't know what they are either, but they certainly are beautiful. Great photo. I hope someone identifies them, I would love to get some for my garden.

I don't really know what they are either! Maybe some relative of the hyacinth? Anyway, I agree with you that the colours are exquisite. Very well captured.
