thank you Mary. I am glad you like this photo. I was traveling around trying to find a nice photo of the mountains around us with the fresh and first snow of the season. We saw Katie and Ben being worked out and stopped to ask if I could take photos.

Talsi thank you for your comment I'm glad you enjoyed this photo Cindy it is Stephen he came from Taranaki Up your way then Makoia now he is just north of Norsewood in Hawkes Bay. He is a nice friendly guy and his horses are the most placid horses I have met. Jas Our petrol Prices have over doubled in the last 2 years I think you are right we may end up reverting back to horse and cart lol :-).

These are lovely horses and the photo' with them pulling the cart, reminds me of days gone by. Gosh! Who knows, with rising fuel costs, maybe we'll all be going back to this mode of transportation?? :)

Tania this was nice to see as am sure this is an old friend we haven't seen for ages. It certainly looks like Stephen and hubby said he heard he was down them ways. Its a wonderful photo of beautiful huge horses and really we are in a small world when you capture someone we (possibly) know! Great image :)
