Thank you - Lini lives in what is the "backyard". There is a pool and fountain for her to swim in, though the physician and wife live on a bayou (alligators), but she is fenced in so they keep her safe. I would try another swan in a heartbeat. When she tires of her pool, she uses the plastic pool set up on the patio for the children. They mate for life, but if she were mine, she'd have a companion - I'd make sure of it. She must be terribly lonely.

The poor thing, can she be paired off with another swan, or will she stay alone.
