About This Image

Frangipani is commonly called the 'Hawaiian Lei Flower'
A small genus of 7-8 species, native to tropical and subtropical places around the world.
The plants can produce rosie-pink,white,red and pale yellow blooms and they give out a beautiful heavenly fragrance around dusk.

This image was taken while on holiday in
Gambia,West Africa.

Lovely shot of these beautiful frangipani flowers, Chriss. These are one of my favourite flowers and I remember seeing lots of them when we were in the Maldives. Thanks for sharing all the info' too.
