Fox sparrow, wanting to bathe on our front patio.
Captured from open front window. It's a bit confusing between the song sparrows and fox sparrows, - but I believe this to be the fox sparrow, due to the lighter lower mandible and its back is mostly brown. The song sparrow was bathing a bit earlier, then this fox sparrow appeared, so have been comparing them :)

thankyou Carol and Fella for the nice comments. Fella, yeah, we had quite a bit of wind and rain, but the worst seemed to bypass us, which is strange as this is usually quite a windy area. Our drinking water was fine too :)
