About This Image

have wanted to take pics of the many floating homes near here, for sometime now,

this is the view from the back, as they are moored alongside the South Arm of the Fraser River, -- and we finally did this yesterday evening. At least, here are just a few of them. We really enjoyed looking around there, a very pretty little area with some nice friendly people there. This is just outside the next small town to ours, at Ladner, British Columbia.

WOW !! Look at that clarity on that shot. Do you need to use any special filters to get those colours all right, especially in the bright sunlight?? A polarising filter or something? Good to read your comments on my photos again. You are not online much these days, are you? -Peace --Ganesh

Alandra. Reserve one for us. We'll be up for the summer. The houseboats around here go into "drydock" during the summer when there is no water at all in the river.

thankyou, Alex. Know what you mean about thinking it would be nice to live in a houseboat, as we thought the same when there the other day : ) Imagine it would be pretty dreary here at times in wintertime too, especially when the fog rolls in by the river! : ) be a bit spooky I'd think
