What a wonderful photograph Dudley. This bird is so beautiful and you captured it very nicely.

It was looking for a fish. It kept moving its head. I got this with the Kodak so I was able to zoom in better. If it had been with the Olympus, then I would not have beeb able to zoom in as easily.

Very nice shot, Dud! My wife and I love those egrets. We see quite a few around here.

He sure is. He goes up and down the ditch looking for food all day long.

That was an intent egret. It must have seen a fish. Lovely shot.

Thanks!! Yes, they do fly away pretty quickly. In flight they look prehistoric.

I love these crazy birds. It is to get to close to them because they scare so easy and they fly the coop. I think the *g* stands for grin. Great photo.

No, thank you and all of those who make comments on the pictures. What does "g" stand for?

Thank you, Dudley. That was most kind of you - and I DO have an imagination. But your picture set it off. *g*

Thanks for the comments. Yes, I have a new camera and have finally figured out how to download pictures with it. If you get a Kodak, do not install the software. I love your comments. Anne, you have a great imagination.Actually this bird flew into the spot. These egrets fly along the ditch from one spot to another.

I silently walked into your picture and loved watching the egret looking at itself, *g*, wiggled my toes in the bright grass on bank and looked at the reflections on other side. The colors all fit the picture. *g* Great shot!
