Love this dwarf Iris Bud with the drop of dew still on it. That exotic purple iris beginning to open up!!! Wonderful!!!

Beverly, This sure is a beautiful bud Iris image love the colours and the water droplets. Did you know that the Iris was named after the Greek goddess of the rainbow, as their colours and markings are reminiscent of a rainbow. I have enjoyed viewing this beautiful image many thanks for sharing. Chriss:)

Beautiful photo Beverly! Great details and colors, the dark background really makes the bud stand out. The water drops are as much fun to view as the bud. The one on the tip hanging on is amazing, and it's shadow on the leaf looking like from a magnifying glass is too cool. The lower drop looks like it lost it's grip and is falling.
