this shot of Lions Gate Bridge taken from the beach area. Stanley Park is the wooded area at right (south) end of bridge. Lights of vehicles can be seen as they travel across the span. Plus the entire bridge is illuminated at nights. They don't show up too clearly here.

The body of water is the Burrard Inlet. Others were there with tripod capturing photos of the barges, there is one appearing under the bridge I believe.

No tripod used for my shots.
Had given up on capturing these bridge shots earlier that day due to the showery weather etc, but later, as we were chatting with the friend who we'd gone to visit there, - realized the opportunity and ran down to nearby beach area and got these shots.
