This drilling platform was drilling for natural gas out in Corpus Christi Bay. Taken from our favorite sunset cruise boat.

Thank you, Whittler and Talsi, for viewing and taking time to comment. The sunset was behind me and gave the sky a pink glow. I took this picture on Tuesday and when we went out again on Saturday, the whole tower had been dismantled???

Wouldn't have thought that an oil dilgging rig would make a nice image - but it sure works here. Nice job.

What a nice shot and also very provoking. Its hard to believe that with all the drilling rigs out there for gas and oil,that we have to depend on foreign oil.
