during post-production photograph was cropped for aspect ratio and the background was separated then applied with a gaussion blur filter to give an "eye popping" optical illusion.

really like this effect also. Took some pics of a daylily almost exactly the same as this, a few days ago, but it will be mundane now when I send it in, compared to yours, LOL. Will hafta think of something else to do with it : )

I like this The more you play the more you will like it. What you have done here is take an ordinary photo of a day lily and turned it into a work of art. Keep them coming. I enjoy your work Zoya
