cranes, glass clad highrises, reflections and the sky at dusk. Captured downtown Vancouver around 9:30 pm late July 2007.
Purposely left this image with the "leaning highrise" as when it's straightened, the reflection in the glass is lost, and I like the reflection. This is one of my favourite images at dusk from that evenings "shoot". Had to stand out in the street with oncoming traffic to capture this :)

This reminds me of our visit. I said then that the crane should be named the official "bird" of Vancouver. They were everywhere! Love the sky color.

thankyou both, Lorraine and Golda :) glad you like it. Am not sur if that's the Sears tower way off in the background Golda, it could be, but it looks a bit too far away, but that could be the lens fault :)

Get out of the traffic,LOL. Is that the Sears tower I can see?The face of downtown is changing all the time.Interesting image,and great evening sky.
