This early summer walk brought me through to some nicely colored flowers which contrasted with the flaxes.

Thanks Alandra for your thoughts and comments,not sure what the background flowers are but can see if they have a name next time I visit these gardens.

how very attractive! as you wrote, the contrast is lovely. The flowers look like a pretty carpet. Am wondering what the taller flowers are in the background? Believe the flowers in foreground are petunias? Think we get the same type here, they have a lovely sheen on the petals
