About This Image

I don't know how this happened. This blossom started opening yesterday. I photographed it three times this evening. This is a middle shot.
The bud is snow white. I was wearing a chocolate brown shirt, and I guess the flash bounced back the color. It's not a shadow. An accident for sure. What do you think? It's jimson weed.

This reminds me of the giant Kraken (octopus or maybe squid) on the 2nd Pirates of the Carabean.

Is Jimson Weed another name for Datura or Angels Trumpet? think I read that someplace online earlier. Very unique and interesting capture. Thought it was some sort of sea creature til I read your description : )
