Thanks Alandra and Mary; it was the colour of the water and sand that caught my eye, and the patterns of the waves on the beach. :)

Jas. Great capture of one of our coastal beaches. Yes we are lucky to live on a large island. Beaches all around. Some not very accessable. Hope you met up with some TLF members while you were here. We could give you some inside information on the Country.

I think this photo captures the spirit of New Zealand and its beaches, unspoilt and empty. We don't know how lucky we are. Lovely photo.

what a beautiful beach! and nobody around! Quite a difference to some scenes taken at a Korean beach that I saw recently : ) - there was hardly space to move between the people there.
