Was lucky to get this shot of a mallard coming in for a landing. I was at the Oakland Zoo, and as many as 20 ducks were moving from one spot to another. One by one they took off and flew over, landing not far from my location. So, I quickly changed lenses, altered my settings and caught this shot. I think the bokeh is rather nice for this image.
If you are not be familar with the term "bokeh", (don't feel bad, I didn't learn it until a couple of months ago), it is defined as the aesthetic of the out of focus part of the image, as it enhances the subject/foreground.

GREAT capture, Alex! good for you! that's a lovely shot, and agree about the bokeh. I also only learned what it is a few months ago :) Just saw a flock of Snow Geese quite low overhead, when out back, unfortunately no camera with me :)
