Thanks Janice and Alandra for the lovely comments. I find that the Red ones like this one scare the birds away from the feeder and does make quite the mess on the Deck. I think maybe I should sweep up the mess and he might stay away awhile.LOL

Squirrels are so cute. Great shot. You should bring him out the broom and dust pan cause he will still leave you a mess, smile.

he's so cute, and great capture. we have a couple of squirrels here now that have quite a bit of the brownish red too, rather than just grey. Also more of the black ones than before too. Some of the black ones are always chasing the others away.

Thanks all for the lovely comments. Ann, this little guy or gal name is Spike. Because he is red like a rusty old spike. I havent seen Chippy for a couple months but with Spring right around the corner I expect to see him anytime.
