About This Image

The church of Notre Dame in Bellac, a town in the Limousin in France. The church is perched on a cliff overlooking a river, and I think this shot emphasises the sense of height.

Steve clone drainpipe out and thats my last info for 2007 :( but the church has two naves one Romanesque and the other Gothic..

What, is that all? Don't you know anything else? :) But seriously, thanks for the kind comment. Thinking about distractions in images, I could have throttled the owner of that drainpipe! It sticks out like a sore thumb!

amazing how a building of say 900years still stands yet today we struggle wonderful church goes great against the blue sky my only info of this year is Richard the lionheart was fatally wounded in this region and Monet was inspired by the wonderful purple heather fields you have .... thanks for sharing this Steve
