About This Image

This is Charing Cross Railway Station.

The station takes its name from its location next to the central London road junction of Charing Cross. The front of the station faces The Strand, while at the other end is the northern end of Hungerford Bridge, which is crossed by all trains serving the station.

I found this to be a fascinating piece of architecture; ultra modern, and adding extra interest to the area surrounding it.

Thanks for looking. :)

Thanks for the comments Mike. If I can get on The London Eye, you definitely can! You wouldn't regret it; the views are amazing...you see everything from a completely different perspective. :)

Hi Steve, I took this as I was going round on the London Eye. It came out quite well considering it was taken through very thick glass! Thanks for looking and commenting - your thoughts are always appreciated. :)
