About This Image

One of our grand-daughters represented her local town, as Carnival Princess, last summer, when she was nine.
She had to commit to attend 14 carnival processions all over the island and in all weathers.
The process for choosing a Carnival Princess, is the same as for a beauty pageant, I guess. She enjoyed wearing the pretty dress and tiara etc. and all the attention from visitors watching the processions.
