Canyon Lake 1

This lake is man-made. It is part of a chain of reservoirs which supply the entire Phoenix area with water. At the head of this chain is Roosevelt lake, which was at 28 percent capacity in Nov. 2004 and is now at 89 percent capacity. We're all breathing easier now since we are no longer facing an immediate drastic water shortage.

Thanks folks. I want to get down to that water too, Zoya. This vantage point is as far as we got yesterday. We ran out of time and I ran out of memory space at the same time. We're going to try to go again next week.
