Thankyou Alandra for looking in, this girl had just come back from the vet after having the long fur trimmed off her underneath for the winter, she didn't look to bad.

she sure is a beauty. We used to see someone with 2 Newfoundlanders down by the owl nesting area, but they must've moved away, as haven't seen them for ages.

Thankyou Whittler, Mary, Vicki and May for looking in and the kind comments, this ones all drool and slobber, and a bit of a bulldozer, but a really lovely dog. I don't think this one will ever need tranguilizers, sad to see an animal so nervous, he must have being treated badly some time before you got him.

Beautiful Newfoundland. My first dog as an adult was a Newf/Shepherd mix, favoring the Shepherd. His father, the Newf was black - a stray - who was so nervous he had to take the tranquilizer Miltown for the rest of his life.
