Hi Carol, thanks and am glad you mentioned it looking like a finch, as was in the same mind, and yet hadn't seen any finches around here for ages. I only just found this image when backtracking recently.(trying to catch up a bit)

Pretty little bird in snow, looks like a finch. Its fun to see how they push their feathers up to keep themselves warm. Carol
