About This Image

3 Bald Eagles in "their" tree this morning, - this is the tree where we see 5 bald eagles most days, - believe these eagles roost there overnight. As we wait there, we see them coming and going, as if this is a vantage place plus rest stop for them -- their heads never stop moving, peering all over the farmlands below them.
Just thought you might be interested in seeing more than one eagle closeup for a change

thanks very much, Carol, Alex, Steve, Beverly & Alan. Am happy you enjoyed it, - they come and go often, so it was good to capture 3 at once. Most times it's 2 sitting there, and one takes off and another flies in to land. This is around 10 am - but by afternoon they have left this tree.

Great shot. These eagles must be photographers as they certainly know what makes for a great composition! If you'd picked them up and placed them in the tree by hand you couldn't have done it better. I would give a lot just to see 1 eagle in my life - it must be incredible to go out and see a treeful!
