thanks Janice and Carol. I did that too, Carol, putting the orange out and no birds ate it. I think Orioles eat oranges tho but we don't get Orioles here. I also put some fruit out recently for the butterflies, as someone onlist said they like rotting fruit : ) but no butterflies have been near that either and its drying right up, lol

Beautiful bird,I cut an orange and put it out for the birds and they wouldnt go near it.Great photo.
