Hi Don and Ikka, thankyou both very much for the lovely comments, happy you like it. Thought the colouring of the water was quite unusual, - there are others with various colours that I plan to share with you soon also. Also like the clarity and colour of the water at the swan's base & surrounding it.

I didn't really notice the colours until the images got onscreen, as was focussing on the swan itself, but did notice the light was very pleasing as I was shooting, and this is what showed up. I was hoping to capture the lovely lighting on the swan itself as it progressed from the shady water to the brighter water.

It was quite chilly there, and I'd left my warm vest in the vehicle in my rush to capture the dog on boat images :) so was cold but it was worth it to get these images :)
