Thank you both. You are right Alan, they certainly aren't pretty birds, but I think they are interesting looking. I usually see them in the water. This is the first time I have seen one laying down in the grass. I was lucky to get this shot.

Very nice photo of the stork surrounded by the flowers. They sure do have a face and hairdo that only a mother could love lol..
