Incy Wincy Spider

I could not sleep so went for a wonder outside. found this spider spinning a web when one of our outside sencer light came on. I tried different shutter speed combonations and this was the best I got. In the morning the spider and the web were both gone with the wind and the rain

km thank you for your comment. I was not aware of what kind of spider it was.

Great shot of the web of this orb-weaving spider. I went out after midnight and got some close-ups. They hide during the day and come out at night.

Steve thank you for the coments. Yes you are very right, I should have cropped the bottom left corner out. :-)

Nice shot Tania, and I especially like the delicate light on the web silk. I think I'd have cropped off the distracting bottom left hand corner though!

Lorraine our neighbours are use to me caring around my camera. No bubbles it was all gone at this stage.

Carol thank you for the kind words

Neat shot Tania, I must say I have not taken to wandering around the garden in the dead of night with my camera, and I have less neighbours than you, I can just imagine the headlines,But it was Christmas eve, did you have a glass of bubbly in the other hand?.
