Performers during the 2006 Chinese New Year festival in San Francisco, become overwhelmed from the smoke from the firecrakers. I don't know how many firecrackers were set off, but they went off continuously for several minutes set in an alleyway. The smoke poured into the street and the performers overlooking the scene had difficulty tolerating the pugent odor.
